Black Doll Exhibits

The Freedom Culture Doll Museum has been a traveling museum exhibit since 2022, providing a public learning experience for the community to recognize and celebrate the vast achievements of people of African descent in the U.S. and globally.  This rich history is captured in cloth and displays historic trailblazers, generations of men, women, boys and girls, from Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, Maggie Walker, Frederick Douglass, Marcus Garvey, Henrietta Lacks, Edgar & Linda Ridley, Eleanor Binford, and more!  These Exhibits are now displayed at our FREEDOM CULTURE DOLL MUSEUM located on private farmland in Southampton County, VA.  Schedule your visit.  By Appointment Only.
